Data processing

TranscribeIt uploads and processes your file in the cloud. We use state-of-the-art technology to encrypt your data while being uploaded (TLS/SSL). Except for the media file, no personal information or data is used or stored. In order to transcribe files, TranscribeIt needs to gather and use personal data like media files. By using this service you agree that files are being transferred and processed online. The media file is processed using automated methods and will be deleted some days after the processing has finished. A recovery of the uploaded data is therefore not possible. Since the process involves the Google Speech technology the according terms of Google apply as well.

Google Analytics & Google Ads (Privacy Policy)

This app uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google") and Google Ads, an advertising and remarketing service also provided by Google. Google Analytics and Google Ads use "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer to help the app analyse how visitors use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the app (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google may show ads across web sites that you are visiting. These ads are based on a user’s past visits to this app. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the app, compiling reports on app activity for app operators and providing other services relating to app activity and internet usage.
