How to use TranscribeIt

How it works

It's not that hard.

4 steps from media file to written text

  • 1. Click on Transcription and choose a media file with speech. The words from the media file should be understandable and as clear as possible. Avoid background voices or disturbing sounds. The maximum file size is 300MB or 5 hours. If you need more, split your file.
  • 2. Choose the language of the speech within the media file.
  • 3. Check the summary if everything is correct. You can pay the job via Paypal or credit card.
  • 4. Allow a short amount of time (~ 20s per Minute of your media file) to let our servers handle the transcription. You will be automatically redirected. Alternatively you can refresh the page.

IMPORTANT: Always save or bookmark the current page. You need it to receive your transcription later. Also note that your transcription is only available for some days. You should copy the text and use/store it on your own.
